Snow!

Doo, doo, doo... lookin' out my back door...
This wasn't due until tomorrow, and I don't know if it came early or if more is expected. The local paper is only published weekly, so if it's possible to make a meteorologist's record any worse... make them predict the weather a week out (since they usually can't get it straight for that afternoon).
There's a big football match this Sat between NUFC and Liverpool (who are 4th in the "Table" right now). Unfortunately, Liverpool isn't all that far away, and usually bring a strong "away" showing, so the game is sold out. No matter, since I have a match of my own this Saturday. The lads I met on the train to the Super Bowl party are needing a keeper this weekend, so I'm going to strap on my mitts and see if I can play with the locals. That ought to be fun in the snow, eh? Especially since long johns are not allowed under soccer shorts... lest I be tabbed a pansy for the next 3 months...
